You don’t have to pronounce it correctly (it's ho-ho-ba) to reap its benefits - what really matters is what it does for your skin. Jojoba Oil is referred to as an “oil” but it is, in fact, a liquid wax, which makes all the difference.
Unlike other skincare oils, the structure of jojoba oil is very similar to the natural oils of our skin. Which means it not only moisturizes, but absorbs faster than other oils. And, it's suitable for all skin types!
Calendula Extract is a botanical ingredient that comes from the common marigold. This ingredient has several properties that make it an essential in any skin care regimen. Because of calendula's anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, it's often used in preparations for sunburns, rashes, insect bites and other mild skin irritations.
We make our own organic Calendula Oil for our Baby Barrier Cream - which is perfect for sore babies bottoms.
Meadowfoam seed oil is cold pressed from the seeds of Limnanthes alba. It has a medium to light skin feel that absorbs very, very quickly. There is no greasy feeling with meadowfoam oil, in fact some consider it a dry oil because it sinks into your skin so fast.
Like jojoba oil, meadowfoam seed oil is slightly waxy and closely resembles human sebum. When used in skin care, it naturally helps your skin to effectively form a barrier to lock in moisture and deliver nutrients deep into your epidermis.
Pink Clay is known for its amazing benefits for sensitive skin. Referred to as the most gentle of all the clays, Pink Clay is actually suitable for all skin types because of its very light texture yet deeply restorative properties. Unlike Green Clay and other clay masks, which work to absorb excess moisture and remove oiliness, Pink Clay does not remove the skin's natural oils, making it perfect for tight, dry and dehydrated skin. Pink Clay benefits skin by providing a boost of natural minerals which help to replenish skin with the nourishment it needs to function well and retain moisture.
